The Amador Resource Conservation District (ARCD) will post an opportunity to landowners that are on the approximately 3,000-acre Jackson Creek Project footprint for signing up for a Prescribed Fire Plan and a one-day field training. Once the landowners are selected for this benefit, the chosen Contractor will visit each property for a minimum of one day to have sufficient data to write a “California Standardized Prescribed Fire Plan” (CSPFP) for each enrolled landowner. This is the standardized six-page document that should be used as a template for each Plan. Once the CSPFP is completed, the Contractor will schedule a one-day training with each individual landowner within a four-month time period. The general project areas have been delineated on the attached map. Specific parcels will be determined by landowner engagement. The project is wholly within Amador County, California.
